Under the direction of the Radiologist or his/her designee, performs radiographic and fluoro examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated area or procedures as required.

Full Time 37.50 hours/week, nights, 12:00am to 8:00am, Local 1199.

Education and Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent/college preferred.
• Graduate of a two-year school for radiology technologists.
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Registration: ARRT.
• Certified in Computer Tomography
• Licensed by the state of New York
• Prior work experience, preferably in a hospital environment.
