More Than a Hospital

Montefiore New Rochelle is a medical village serving the diverse needs of the residents of southern Westchester. Our facilities and services include primary, acute and emergency care; outpatient services; a community health center; long-term extended care; and rehabilitation and home care services.

We are part of Montefiore Health System, a premier academic medical center and the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Our History

The hospital was first founded in 1892, providing care to the New Rochelle community. In 2013, it became part of the Montefiore Health System.

In addition to completing advanced upgrades, the hospital has extended its services and is now the hub of a medical village, providing integrated services with Schaffer Extended Care Center and Burke Rehabilitation.

Patient Satisfaction

Providing exceptional care starts with each patient, because each patient defines what quality care means to them. It’s why we actively connect with patients, getting an understanding of their concerns, learning what might make them more comfortable, and ensuring they understand their treatment plan and their medications.

This is what patient-centered care is all about. We continually strive to anticipate needs, providing support when patients need it most. And when it is time for patients to leave our hospital, we ensure each patient is connected to any additional ongoing care and guidance they need.
